Our Scholars squad 2 hosted Aldershot this week in the Tactic League. This tough test proved too much for our squad made up mainly of first years, however the lads will or learnt a lot from playing against a side of this calibre.

Goals from Omar Abbas and Liam Berry weren't enough to ensure a share of the spoils in this fixture, but Josh Dungate's MOTM performance is a real boost for the squad as he returns to full fitness.

'Unfortunately we haven't been able to build on our last couple of good results from this squad, however the scoreline definitely flattered our opponents. We must learn to be better in both boxes if we want to ensure we convert our performances into results. There are lots of positives to take out of this performance, myself and Jonny have been extremely impressed by the lads never say die attitude today against a strong outfit.'
